As players, we've got no objection to exploring some sort of we can not significantly influence. It nails every element that drives such an experience, and does so using a panache and flair that elevates it above almost all of it's rivals. Comparisons with Tomb Raider are in reality off here, as the depth of puzzles and progress is a bit more shallow than the adventures of Ms Croft, with the overall game barely stopping in short supply of marking what to do which has a big neon sign.
