The game saw protagonist Nathan Drake return in a more impressive adventure that took him around the globe, as an alternative to restricting him to at least one island. If the enemy doesn't see sneaking up on him from behind or his side, then they can not cry over to alert his comrades nor will he possess a chance to fireside his weapon. Of course, like with perfect story telling, Flynn double crosses Drake as soon as the they gather the oil lamp and leaves Drake to handle the security on his own.
