Soon enough Drake finds himself dodging bullets and running from enemies, he is able to not be absolutely clear on whom to trust. 'I know the 'C' word and associated fear along having a need to follow 'nature wisdom' is partly the reason for the emotional approach. Of course, like with all good story telling, Flynn double crosses Drake when the they get hold of the oil lamp leaving Drake to handle the security on his own.
