I think that what you posted made a lot of sense. However, what about this? what if you composed a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added something to maybe grab people's attention? I mean Start new topic is a little vanilla. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create post titles to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
