As players, we now have no objection to exploring some sort of we can't significantly influence. If the enemy doesn't see sneaking high on him from behind or his side, then he can not cry to alert his comrades nor will he possess a chance to fireside his weapon. Comparisons with Tomb Raider are in reality off here, because depth of puzzles and progress is a bit more shallow as opposed to adventures of Ms Croft, with the game only stopping short of marking what to do having a big neon sign.
