I believe everything wrote was very logical. However, think about this, what if you added a little information? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean Start new topic is kinda vanilla. You might glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write article headlines to get people to click. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
