The game saw protagonist Nathan Drake return in a bigger adventure that took him across the globe, instead of restricting him to a single island. 'I understand the 'C' word and associated fear along with a desire to follow 'nature wisdom' is partly to blame for the emotional approach. Of course, just as in great story telling, Flynn double crosses Drake as soon as the they gather the oil lamp and instead gives off Drake to handle the security guards on his own.
