Exclusively for Nintendo DS, Monster Racers will take players on a quest around the globe in search of monster breeds to train, nurture, and race. Throughout their journeys, players will build lasting friendships with new allies, and encounter daunting challenges from a bevy of rival racers.

By combining real‐time racing and platform‐style action with the fun of monster collecting and breeding, Monster Racers brings to life a colorful and unforgettable world that has fallen in love with this exciting new sport.

For the first time in the genre, a player's skill in controlling their monster will be a key factor in winning each challenge. Monster Racers utilizes side‐scrolling platform‐style action to create a racing experience that everyone can easily learn and enjoy. Throughout each course, players must gather power‐up items while avoiding obstacles such as "boulders", "icicles", "meteors", or "strong winds." With a wide variety of courses, players will have the advantage of choosing which monster is best suited for each race.The high point of a race is when a monster unleashes its "Turbo" skill. "Turbo" skills can enlarge the racer, generate clones, knockdown opponents, make the monster invincible, or instantly transport the racer ahead of the pack. It's always fun to find out what kind of "Turbo" skill your new monster will unleash.
