On August 2nd, 1991, Iraq invaded its neighboring oil-producing country, Kuwait. On August 25th, 1991, a joint session of the United Nation?s Security Council authorized the intervention of military force. During the twilight hours of January 16th, 1992, the liberation of Kuwait began. Almost twelve years later, in the twilight hours of March 16th, 2003, the liberation of Iraq begins...

Operation: Armored Liberty is dedicated to the brave men and women who fought so gallantly to maintain the diplomacy of peace in the Gulf region and bring about the liberation of Iraq.

• Maneuver the M1A1 Abrams tank across the sands of Iraq
• Blast enemies with a wide assortment of armaments including: 120mm M256 cannon, two 7.62mm M240 machine guns, laser-guided missiles and a sophisticated GPS-guided radar system

• Locate and destroy mobile SCUD launchers and bio-chemical labs
• Defend against Soviet built Ka-50 Werewolf attack helicopters
• Unleash smoke canisters to create cover during combat
