We've seen dogs, cats, rodents and even babies on the Nintendo DS in pet-sim-like titles. And like Monty Python would say: Now for something completely different... Panda bears!

NamcoBandai is planning to release a whole new pet-simulation title on the Nintendo DS. Although not much is known about the title at this time, which is most likely only heading for Japan, we can extract some information from the title: Panda-san Nikki. That's right, we're be petting a panda bear.

Whether the virtual panda won't be as picky as its real-life counterpart when it comes to bamboo, remains unknown for the moment...
