MCV are reporting that US Gamer has discovered that the new 2DS only actually has one screen. The single (but large) touch-screen is only seperated by the handhelds casing with only the consoles firmware dictating which areas react to the stylus imput. What do you think? Is this a good move by Nintendo?

After yesterdays welcome news that Europe will be getting the Limited Edition Zelda Wii U Bundle it seems that Australia won't be as lucky. The news was confirmed by Nintendo Australia with the PR teeam only say that they: "do not have plans to release these in Australia and New Zealand at this stage."

Good news for all you cash strapped gamers as D3 Publisher plan to release 2 3DS combo packs just before Christmas. The packs themselves will include The Croods & Madagascar 3 or The Croods & Rise of the Guardians. There's no price point yet but you'll be able to get your hands on them this November.

After a less than inspiring start for the new console, Nintendo have finally given in and from 20th September the Wii U deluxe Version will only cost $299. A saving of %50. There's no word on a European price cut just yet but you can read the full official statement inside.

No, it's not an April Fools Prank we assure you but we did have to cross check this with a number of sources. Yes, it's true, Ninteo have announced the 2DS costing $129 and arriving on October 12th. News is reaching us that WayForward's eagerly awaited Shantae and the Pirate's Curse will be playable for first time at PAX Prime 2013. Regular readers will know that we haven't seen anything on this adventure/platformer since the final issue of Nintendo Power late last year. Hopefully we'll see more screens, information and, more importantly, a release date.
