Su-Doku With Pictures? Toon-Doku!
Is Sudoku too hard for you? Majesco comes up with Toon-Doku, a puzzler for the Nintendo DS with pictures.
Majesco Entertainment today announced Toon-Doku for the Nintendo DS. Developed by Dragon's Den Unlimited, Toon-Doku will offer fun, cartoon picture-based puzzles in addition to traditional number-based Sudoku puzzles when it ships this April.
"Toon-Doku is the answer for Sudoku fans looking for something different and younger players looking for a less intimidating puzzler," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing at Majesco. "The combination of pictures and unique multi-player features adds several new dimensions to one of today's most popular brain games. Of course, Toon-Doku also includes number-based play, so fans can enjoy 'Doku' the traditional way as well."
Toon-Doku features 250 different images gamers can place on the board to complete each puzzle. A deep Edit Mode lets budding artists create their own customized pieces for play or trade with friends. In addition to three multiplayer modes, Toon-Doku includes a unique Distraction System that lets players block portions of their opponent's board to thwart their progress in competitive matches.

Wow, those little pictures would confuse me waaaay more than the number puzzles already do.
I prefer numbers, but maybe this will get more people into it. They will be like "Ohh so the same picture can't be in the same row or column." It might be easier to explain I guess.
what could be easier than counting 1 to 9 in each row, column and block? :/
