505 Games Did It!
Well, at least they claim they do. 505 Games has announced a new Nintendo DS title called I Did It Mum!, aimed at pre-schoolers.
While Nintendo seeks our for new gaming targets, 505 Games tends to do the same. However, 505 Games heads into the oposite direction, by aiming at pre-schoolers.
Today, the company banged its toy drum, hooted its plastic trumpet and announced the planned release of I Did It Mum!, a collection of fun and educational minigames for preschool boys and girls, for the Nintendo DS in November 2007.
Inspired by classic pre-school books and games, separate boys and girls editions of I Did It Mum! will be published, featuring games such as 'toy train' and 'drive the car' for boys and 'colour the animals' and 'little kitchen' for girls (note: we are not promoting sexism here, it's how 505 Games stated it). I Did It Mum also offers a voice recording opportunity for Mum (or Dad) to congratulate and encourage their child when completing the mini games. Now isn't that what everyone is waiting for? Hearing your mum or dad congratulate you after playing a nice game...
