WII Rogue Trooper - Facts & Screens

Apparently we missed an announcement last month, as Reef Entertainment is bringing Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre to the Wii. First details and screenshots inside.

Rogue Trooper can out-manoeuvre any enemy on Nu-Earth due to his genetically engineered strength and ability to survive in the toxic wasteland that this future war's battlefields have become. The human forces are all hampered with HAZMAT suits and heavy air supplies except for a few semi-clear areas by the coast.

The best weaponry available was given to the Genetic Infantry (GI) forces. Helmets fitted with radar and communication scanning systems. Backpacks able to generate supplies from battlefield salvage when behind enemy lines. Rifles that mix heavy firepower with configurability using an under-slung attachment point that can lead to devastating combinations of munitions, in any situation.

Added to this a GI's main trio of equipment are all fitted with biochip slots that are capable of keeping a fallen GI's biochip (a living record of that GI's training and personality) alive until they can be Re-Gened. These Biochips assist your tactical approaches to the toughest situations, offering features such as:

Features:

  • 3rd person tactical shooter
  • Employ a ruthless tactical combination of stealth and all-out action in wide, open environments
  • automated sentry guns
  • Controllable holographic projection of rogue trooper, able to lead emenies off your scent or into an ambush
  • Micro-mine fields you can lay to watch your back or project forward and cover a potential path of attack
  • Use quick thinking and next-gen intelligent weaponry to execute your objectives

The screenshots of the game can be found on our gamepage for Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre.

  • Nice, sounds like Metal Gear style of gameplay.
