European Retail Version of World of Goo Canceled

It seems that the highly regarded World of Goo title won't be released as a retail game anymore in Europe but will rather be released as WiiWare as it had been done within North America.

For gamers in Europe that were eagerly awaiting to pick up a retail copy of World of Goo will now have to purchase it as WiiWare, which is how it is available within North America.

2DBoy, the developers behind the title, have thought it be unfair Europe gets a retail version along with an extra chapter so they decided to make it a WiiWare title, exactly the same to the North American one with no extra chapter. The game has been given a release for next month but at a hefty price of 1,500 Wii Points.
