Two New Reviews
This year brought the Nintendo DS two 'big' skateboard titles: Skate It by EA and Tony Hawk's Motion by Activision. Andrew took both titles and tells us which one was, in his opinion, the winner of our Great-Skateboarding-on-DS-Test.
Let's start with the newcomer. We all know the Tony Hawk titles, and apart from the classic Skate or Die titles, there haven't been many (good) skateboarding video games. Now Electronic Arts, who also developed Skate or Die back in 1987, tries to enter the market once more with Skate It. Will this be a one-timer or a window for opportunity? Head over to our review of Skate It to see for yourself.
Tony Hawk has been a great name in skateboarding for years. Both in real-life as in video games, Tony managed to deliver entertainment to many. Now, Activision took a new turn (pun intended) with skateboarding on Nintendo DS by introducing Motion controls. Was this a smart move with newcomer Skate It rolling in, or should Activision have sticked with the original control scheme and try the motion part next year? Read all about Andrew's findings in our review of Tony Hawk's Motion.
