Relive historic battles on Nintendo DS
Man the canons, bring out the cavalry and arm the peasants! It's wartime in Europe and your task to guide us through some historic battles in Military History Commander: Europe at War for Nintendo DS.
Publisher Koch Media and history specialist Slitherine, a UK-based independent developer, today announced the release of the new title Military History Commander: Europe at War for Nintendo DS, PSP and PC with new and enhanced features. This is the first release in a new series of games.
Military History Commander: Europe at War is a turn-based strategy game set during World War II. Players take command of either the Axis powers or the Allied forces, and make decisions relating to recruitment, reconnaissance and diplomacy.
Military History Commander: Europe at War was designed to be easy to play, without being simple to master. The artificial intelligence offers an exciting challenge, even for experienced gamers. And thanks to the clearly arranged, easy-to-use user interface, players will actually spend their time fighting the enemy, rather than struggling with the menus.
Features:
- Turn-based battles of World War II across several European countries
- Huge hex grid campaign map
- Six epic, extensive scenarios, including Operation Barbarossa and D-Day
- 50 inventions from five different tech trees
- Recruitment of historical commanders for the player's own units
- In-game artwork by Osprey Publishing, a leading publisher of military history books

The presentation looks a little bit muddled on the DS, but hopefully it should be decent. I could really do with another Advance Wars game, I guess I could get one of the Fire Emblems.
