Our friends down-under at Torus Games are working on a remake of Crystal Mines for Nintendo DS. Reason enough to warn you about what you might find in those cavernous mines.

Crystal Mines on DS is a remake of the classic 1989 NES game. In the distant future, you are in charge of a remote-controlled robot on a far-away planet, mining for gemstones and metals. These cavernous mines aren't empty - they're full of exploding rocks, lava, oil, one-way passages, black holes, radioactive waste, deadly underground critters, cave-ins and bedrock which can't be simply blasted away!

Guide your robot through an incredible 311 levels and two different game modes as you collect jewels, discover hidden prizes, solve puzzles, steer clear of hazardous ground, set traps, avoid the dangerous subterranean creatures and try to find the way out - all before the clock runs down!
