NintenDaan's - Episode 3
NintenDaan is becoming a regular here at DS-x2.com. In his new feature, his third for us, NintenDaan informs us on all the interesting videos released during the past week.
Monday On Monday we had the American Nintendo Channel Update, which had a lot great videos. Bowever, the Nintendo Week feature was really packed with footage! There was footage for the WiiWare's Castlevania Rebirth and they revealed the new Excitebike: World Rally. Furthermore, Nintendo showed Ubisoft's C.O.P.: the Recruit and some spooky Virtual Console games (of course Halloween was near), so enough reason to give it a watch!
Tuesday Tuesday, I did a first look on BIT.TRIP VOID and it definitely was a blast to play! In the game, you control a black hole which you'll use to collect black dots. The more dots you have, how bigger your black hole (the 'void') will be. Don't make it too big though, since you have to avoid the white dots at all costs... or else you will lose all your progress. When you unleash everything you collected it will turn into additional Beat in the background which will give you a lot of points!
Wednesday On Wednesday brought us the Minna no Nintendo Channel update which gave us one interesting trailer to discuss.
The trailer I'm referring to shows the biggest games in the upcoming months in Japan. Games that are really meant for the core player. Games like Monster Hunter 3, FFCC: The Crystal Bearers and a lot more! It feels like a digest trailer and a good one in that fashion. It shows off all the games pretty well and it gives a good overall look on where 3rd party support stands right now in Japan. Just take a look at the following video yourself and let us know what you think of it.
Thursday Nothing to see here... just move along.
Friday Finally, another first look on WayForward's LIT. LIT is a game that was released several months ago already in North America and now finally hit the European Wii Shopping Channel, just in time for Halloween (which isn't that big in Europe)!
LIT has a interesting concept where you have to stay away from the darkness by using lightswitches, rotating lights and televisions. The horror-feel feels very well done in this game and it uses the motion controls pretty well. Just see for yourself in the following video.
That's all we've got for you today, see you all next time! (You can view more Nintendo Channel related and various gameplay related videos on NintenDaan's YouTube channel)
