NDS Beat City - More details & screenshots

A week ago, we already informed you on Beat City for Nintendo DS. Today, we can bring you some new details and some screenshots on the game.

Beat City is an easy to pick-up and play game featuring 20 colorful mini-games and combines stylistic and fun rhythm-based games with a story of revolution and love.

In Beat City, players must find their rhythm in order to restore Beat City to the vibrant, melodious city it once was. Using the stylus, players simply tap, swipe or hold on queue to the music's beat in order to receive a high star rating within each mini-game. While players are tapping to the beat, they can watch the city transform right before their eyes ridding the city of Dame Isolde Minor and her Cacophony Corporation, who bring nothing but monotony. The better a player is at keeping the beat the more items are unlocked in the environment.

Features:

  • Join the Beat: Join a crazy cast of characters as they start a rhythm revolution in Beat City.
  • Tons of Mini-games: Grab your stylus and Tap, Swipe and Hold along to the rhythm in 20 mini-games.
  • Hit the Beat: Restore music, color, life and love with the power of the beat. See the world evolve in front of your eyes!
  • Hours of Fun: Easy to complete, with enough depth and secrets for endless playability.

  • Certainly looks interesting. Haven't had the opportunity to play Rhythm Heaven but this does look/sound rather similar and seeing as that title is supposed to be great, this should be too.

  • Rhythm Heaven is awesome. It's hard at some times though (Ping Pong is insane to me)

  • Well I mastered all but one song on Insane difficulty on Ouendan (have never been able to finish the last song) and like a good challenge so sounds like my kind of game. Was cheap in the sales so should have a look round.

  • Rhythm Heaven was very enjoyable but also incredibly difficult.
