Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke
Get ready for a supermodel makeover with a new beauty title for Nintendo DS: Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke.
Over the last 12 months 28-year old Lauren Luke has taken the beauty industry by storm, becoming an internet phenomenon by broadcasting her home-made make-up tutorials on YouTube to millions of people across the globe. With 70 million hits to date and the No. 1 subscribed YouTube channel in the UK, Lauren has brought her popular tutorials to the Nintendo DS in Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke from Avanquest Software.
This exciting, interactive make-up and fashion game challenges players to become the ultimate fashionista, mastering the three key elements of fashion including clothing, accessories and make-up. Players attend the Academy of Beauty School where they will take part in ten fun and fabulous style contests. Styles include Boho Babe, Prom Style, Disco Star, Beach Babe and Egyptian Goddess.
Each contest is split into three style sections; clothing, make-up and accessories. Players must bring forward their completed look to the judging panel, where three judges, including Lauren Luke, will score the look out of ten. The scoring can get tough in the judging panel, so players must make sure they bring their best styles to the catwalk. However, Lauren is on hand to offer make-up advice in the beauty section, showing players how to create the perfect make-up look and sharing her best beauty secrets.
With over 250 fashion items including sunglasses, jewellery, handbag and shoes, there are many fashion styles that can be created and stored in the players Model Portfolio. The game also features unlockable fashion themed mini-games and a Freestyle Mode where players can get creative with their look. Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke will keep players entertained for hours and is an ideal game for fans of Lauren Luke and all fashion and beauty enthusiasts.
Between creating her videos, chatting with her thousands of Facebook friends and twittering on a daily basis, Lauren has been the subject of a BBC documentary and held interviews with CBS, ITV, Vanity Fair, Elle and Radio 1. She was named '2009 Beauty Newcomer of the Year' at the Women's Wear Daily Beauty Bizz Awards and has launched a book and make-up range. Lauren also recently created special make-up tutorials for the BAFTA Rising Star 2010 nominees.
