NMS: Metroid and Mario Galaxy earlier than expected
The first rumours from the Nintendo Media Summit have arrived: Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii will arrive earlier than expected.
According to the first rumours originating from our french colleagues at Wiiz.fr, both Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M are currently set for a release during the summer of 2010 already, instead of the earlier reported end-of-2010. At the moment, it is not yet clear whether this involves a PAL or NTSC release date.

Well to add some substance to this, both GAME and Gamestation here in the UK also have them down for Summer releases, specifically June. We'll find out properly later today but does seem likely with Japan getting Metroid: Other M in the summer. Just makes you wonder just what Nintendo have up their sleeves for the winter then if they're releasing these big games earlier than thought. Could Zelda really hit this year?
And confirmed for the US. 23rd May for Mario and 27th June for Metroid. European dates should be given tomorrow and should be around the same time, maybe a week or two difference. Does indeed seem Nintendo have some big stuff for the Winter if they're sending out two of their big guns in the Summer. Looking forward to E3 even more now.
