Foreign Games reintroduces arcade classics
Foreign Media Games announced Gamehits for Nintendo DS, a collection of four classic hit games from the birth of video gaming, the 1980s, reinvented for modern handheld gamers.
Four classic hits from the pioneering days of ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 introduced to a brand new generation of gamers.
The redesign takes the much-loved classic gameplay of four greats and brings it bang up to date with full graphical overhaul. Additional features include multi-player modes, a variety of difficulty levels and full use of the unique control method options offered by the DS.
All four games have been redesigned in 3D and are just as addictive as ever. Players can eat their way through a labyrinth, shoot down spaceships, fill rows with the tessellating blocks, and direct a robot to cross safely. Players can also team up with a friend or battle against each other. The various difficulty levels make the Gamehits equally challenging for both young and old.
FMG Managing Director, Michel van Elmpt comments, "Those of us that have been in the games industry for many years fondly remember the classic age of early-1980s gaming. Since those halcyon days, a whole new generation of gamers have missed out. Gamehits sets out to bring these classics to this new audience."
Gamehits for Nintendo DS will be released on 1st April 2010.
