Okamiden - Screenshots and Trailer

After finding a home on the Wii in 2008, Capcom are now bringing a sequel to the critically acclaimed Okami to the Nintendo DS in the form of Okamiden. New screenshots and a trailer have been divulged for your pleasure.

Okamiden is set several months after the events of the first game and sees a new evil engulf the land of Nippon once again. The power of Okami Amaterasu is reincarnated in the form of Chibiterasu and taking control of Chibiterasu, and teaming up with Susano's son Kuni, you'll head into the land to restore nature's beauty to the land of Nippon once again and vanquish the evil plaguing it.

The game will make expert use of the DS' capabilities, using the touch screen to make use of Chibiterasu's Celestial Brush techniques as well as being able to draw routes for Kuni to travel for collecting treasure and items. The game also retains it's watercoloured look and pushes the DS' 3D capabilities to the test with some truly breathtaking visuals.

Okamiden will be launching exclusively on the Nintendo DS in 2011.
