Interplay announce MDK 2 for WiiWare Release
Originally released in 1997, Interplay Entertainment Corp. have today announced their collaboration with Beamdog to re-release MDK 2 this Winter on the WiiWare service.
"It is a great pleasure to announce that we are returning to the adventures of Kurt Hectic, Dr. Hawkins and the 6-legged gun-toting robotic dog Max," said HervCaen, CEO of Interplay. "MDK2 was a great title to work on and we're happy to have some of the original team working on these new versions," seconded Trent Oster, co-Founder of Beamdog.
Details are scarse on what the WiiWare version of the game will contain but it is believed to be a straight port of the original game. Further details will be given at a later date.
MDK 2 will see a release on Nintendo's WiiWare service this Winter. Stay tuned to DS-x2 for news as it becomes available.

Didn't expect to ever see this one again. Loved the original MDK on PC. It was the first game in which you could actually wound your opponents if I recall correctly. Never played MDK 2 though.
