Ubisoft date key releases for Wii and DS titles in Europe

Ubisoft have today dated their range of upcoming big hitter titles due to hit retail on the Nintendo Wii and DS in October and November this year.

Giving a firm release date to many of their big releases on Nintendo's platforms, Ubisoft will push a varied lineup of titles in the later half of the year, with new entries into existing franchises as well as some first time appearances on the Wii.

Leading the holiday release season for the publisher and making their first trip into the skateboarding genre, Ubisoft will be releasing Shaun White Skateboarding on October 1st for the Nintendo Wii. That'll be followed by the sequel to one of last year's most successful third party titles on the Wii, Just Dance 2 which will see a release on October 15th. Finishing out their October releases, Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring will also see a release during this period on the Wii.

The Rabbids will make a return again to both the Wii and DS after last year's Rabbids Go Home title and will look to conquer time itself in Rabbids Travel In Time, which will see release on November 12th.

Other titles making the cut this year on the Wii and DS include Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2, which sees the series make its first appearance on a Nintendo platform, a Wii-specific version of Driver San Fransisco and Michael Jackson: The Game, giving Ubisoft a healthy lineup of titles for release on Nintendo's platforms in the latter half of the year.

Fans hoping to see the Wii version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will unfortunately have to wait until Q1 of next year.
