WII Nordic Games Confirms Release Date For We Sing Encore

Nordic Games Publishing have today confirmed the release date for the next installment in the We Sing series of games, We Sing Encore.

Nordic Games Publishing has today confirmed that We Sing Encore, the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2009's bestseller We Sing, will be released on 20th August.

"After the outstanding success of We Sing, we know there are hoards of fans clamouring to get their hands on We Sing Encore," says Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. "It's the perfect game to while away the hours during the school holidays and is guaranteed fun for Wii gamers of all ages."

We Sing Encore went down a storm at the recent Party In The Park, where festival goers revelled in singing the likes of Fight For This Love (Cheryl Cole), Just Dance (Lady Gaga), Mama Do (Pixie Lott), Rihanna (Umbrella) and Break Your Heart (Taio Cruz).

We Sing Encore features 40 tracks in total, the majority of which include the original videos. The songs span pop, rock, rap and R&B bringing together party classics such as I Will Survive (Gloria Gaynor), contemporary hits like I Need You (N Dubz), crowd-pleasers like Gold (Spandau Ballet), hip-hop hits like Shut Up (Black Eyed Peas) and housewives' favourite Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Bonnie Tyler).

We Sing is the only singing series of games to support four players and this sequel takes the concept of the original game and adds a host of new features including Singing Lessons, Real Karaoke mode where vocals are stripped away and Jukebox for non-stop music.

Nordic Games will have a significant presence at this year's Gamescom (18th-22nd August) where it will give visitors the chance to get on stage to try out We Sing Encore and show the recently announced We Sing Robbie Williams behind closed doors.

We Sing Encore is available from 20th August on Wii.
