Machinarium Heading to WiiWare

Independent developer XGen Studios have announced a partnership with Amanita Designs which will see renowned point and click title Machinarium hit the WiiWare service.

After receiving both critical and commercial plaudits as one of the best indie games for the PC in recent years, developer XGen Studios have announced that their unique point and click title Machinarium is heading to the WiiWare service in the near future.

The announcement comes by way of the image above, posted on XGen's official website official website. No information was given as to how the game will play or translate to WiiWare, specifically in regards to how the team will get round the file size limit on the service. More information is expected in the coming months but until then, why not take a peak at the video below and see for yourself what the game is about.

  There aren't many announcements for WiiWare that make me truly excited but I will admit, this is one of them. I've only played the demo but it's a fantastic game and I can't wait for it to release on WiiWare. I suspect it'll be episodic to counter the file size limit but I'm more than ok with that.
