Free WiiWare demo of Crazy Racers

One of the WiiWare titles we got to play back at Gamescom 2010 was Zallag's Racers' Islands - Crazy Racers. We liked it, and now you get the chance to try it out for yourself, as a free demo of the game will hit the Wii Shop tomorrow.

Racers' Islands - Crazy Racers is a pure arcade driving experience with a completely unique gameplay feature: drive and shoot at the same time. Unlike similar games that let you use items that move automatically to their targets, in Crazy Racers you can aim with the Wii Remote and shoot precisely your opponents. Shake your remote to load your weapon then point and shoot towards the screen to slow down other players!

The demo of the racing game Racers' Islands - Crazy Racers is now available for free on Nintendo's WiiWare service in Europe. The demo will let you race with one character on one of the 20 tracks of the game.

The full game features:

• 20 different races to ride through
• 6 thematic islands looking like a big amusement park
• Multiplayer in split-screen with up to 4 players
• Up to 8 players at the same time with a controller-sharing option (one drives while the other shoots)
