Two new reviews: Harry Potter in a Hot Pursuit
It's like a tradition, and this weekend it's not any different: Two new reviews for your viewing pleasure. This time, we got Chris to play through both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for Wii.
Like every weekend, we try to bring you two new reviews. This week, Chris was given a copy of both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for Wii.
Nearly every Harry Potter title ever reviewed right here on DS-x2.com was received average to pretty good. Chris got a copy of the tie-in to last years' Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows - Part 1 and was sent off to do his magic. Harry might have grown up over the years, but whether that had a positive influence on his games... we'll leave it up to you to read all about Chris' finding in this review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 for Wii.
We also gave Chris a copy of Electronic Arts' latest addition to the Need for Speed series on Wii: the remake of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. During the review we were wondering what the smell was: burning rubber or a blown engine? The article put down on our desk by Chris holds the answer whether you should race to the stores to get this one, or whether you'd rather wait for the next game to come from the EA racing-stables. So head over to the review on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for Wii now!

I'm not to sure- I played the BETA and World was paid at the time so I was like "nah not worth it". But I'm pretty sure it is now free- least for the base game- yeah they probably want to sling stuff into it but yeah.
"free", right? Didn't you need to pay for certain upgrades, making it impossible to get a chance in a race if you didn't?
On the other side of the coin- NFS World was great. (did that become free eventually after beta or what- I can't remember....) and Shift 2 looks like what Shift 1 should of been.
Yeah Nitro barely interested me. It's a shame because I was looking for a good NFS.
I enjoyed Carbon- how much is it like Carbon?
Nothing like Carbon. It's more like Nitro, the Nintendo exclusive released in 2009 on the Wii and DS, but worse.
Hot Pursuit both disappointed and annoyed me. As I stated, how can iOS devices get a version of the game like the other home console versions when the Wii gets this mess? EA are making strides forward on the other consoles but taking several steps backwards with the Wii. Hope this isn't the attitude that continues on to their 3DS games.
