Super Meat Boy might move to 3DS
We already knew that Super Meat Boy for WiiWare was more or less canned. During GDC, the team behind the game revealed the reason and that they're considering a 3DS version.
At the Game Developers Conference, Team Meat has revealed the reason why Super Meat Boy for WiiWare is no more: what started as a simple game simply became too large for the Wii to handle as WiiWare. A possible solution was to bring the game over to the retail shelves but, as Team Meat explained, there aren't many publishers waiting for third party titles on Wii at the moment. The result: a canned project.
However, not all hope is gone for Nintendo fans. The team is currently investigating the possibilities of a Nintendo 3DS title. Edmund McMillan, from Team Meat, quickly added that this is not an announcement of a 3DS version of Super Meat Boy, but that the possibility is under consideration.
