The Last Story and Pandora's Tower Confirmed For Europe
With the European launch of Xenoblade Chronicles mere days away, Nintendo of Europe has announced that you can look forward to two more exclusive and action packed RPGs in 2012 on the Wii.
With Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles leading the way for Wii software in Europe for this Fall and into the holiday season, Nintendo of Europe have released tantalising information about what you can expect to find on store shelves for the Wii in 2012 in the form of two high profile role playing experiences.
Sakaguchi and MistWalker's latest RPG epic The Last Story, a new role playing IP owned and published by Nintendo, will be making it's way to European shores and stores in 2012.
Not only that, but Ganbarion's Pandora's Tower will also be joining it, providing a one-two knock out punch for Wii RPG owning fans in the period before the next Nintendo home console, the Wii U, takes over. No specific release dates were given for the two titles in Europe other than the 2012 date, with these expected to be announced later in the year.
At the time of writing, there is currently no official announcement or release date for the games in North America. With Reggie's recent sentiments on watching and waiting to see how Xenoblade Chronicles does in Europe before making a decision on whether or not to bring the game over, it may unfortunately turn out to be annother wait-and-see situation for North American gamers looking for these big RPG epics on their Wiis.
Hopefully that won't be the case and we'll be able to bring our North American readers some good news on these titles soon. Until then, stay tuned for further developments.

Fantastic to see these officially announced for Europe. Can't wait to try The Last Story as it looks great. And this isn't "rubbing it in" for NA gamers before anyone says. I, and many others in Europe, hope Nintendo of America will see sense and bring these games, along with Xenoblade Chronicles, to North America. Given how well XC is being received in reviews and in pre-orders in Europe, they'd be idiots not to when there isn't much else.
For me Pandora's Tower seems to be the most interesting, but I wouldn't mind either- can't wait!
Also about the "rumbbing it in" I love how Americans are now getting the bum rush instead of us. Time to share the pain.
They were at Nintendo's business area booth at gamescom too. Looked pretty good :) (didn't play them as it was a bit too crowdy and there was more interesting stuff around.)
