Pokemon Black and White 2 Announced

On this weeks Pokemon Smash (a Japanese show devoted to all things Pokemon) Game Freak's Junichi Masuda appeared on the show and announced the new titles.

While it was expected that the elusive Pokemon Grey would be announced, instead what two new games in the Black and White series reboot. Numbered sequels; Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2.

The games are also not appearing on the 3DS, and instead will be released on the Nintendo DS system. The release date has been revealed as June in Japan as well.

Logos were teased which shows colour on the tips of the logo and the extra number. With the white version having a red 2, and the black version a blue 2. The legendary Pokemon were also shown, which look similar to the previous cover Pokemon instead with a little more grey.

No other information about the game has been revealed or teased at this point.

  Would be nice if the colors turned out to be references to the Original Blue and Red versions (although I believe Japan wasn't that much into red and blue, but more into green)
