Konami plans 3DS Castlevania for E3

Unfortunately, one of Konami's surprises for E3 leaked early: the Japanese are planning to release Castlevania: Mirror of Fate for Nintendo 3DS.

The Dutch Ninty-fans from N1ntendo.nl have found out that Konami is planning a release of Castlevania in Nintendo 3DS. Although their story was pulled on request by Konami shortly after revealing their findings through an interview, the same guys found out that Konami had registered several domainnames hinting at the same name for the game: Castlevania: Mirror of Fate.

Not much is known yet about Mirror of Fate, but rumour is that the game will be a 2D-Castlevania by MercurySteam, the same compay that worked earlier on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Expect more news, and most likely the first footage, in a few weeks when we cover the E3 event.
