DLC Coming for New Super Mario Bros. 2

Nintendo have revealed that they plan to release three DLC packs for their best selling (and rather wonderful) New Super Mario Bros. 2. The news came in yet another Nintendo Direct with the first pack available on October 2nd in Japan. 

The packs themselves will challenge gamers to collect extra and Gold-plated coins, compete in time trials and even undertake, what Nintendo is calling, 'super challenges'.

There's no word on the European release just yet but as soon as we know more, we'll let you know.
