ETC Facebook integration!

Hold your horses, we're not talking Facebook on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. We are however allowing you to log in using your Facebook account here on Nintendo-x2.com.

from time to time, we're trying to implement new features to make Nintendo-x2.com more fun for everyone. Today, we're announcing Facebook integration: as almost everyone uses Facebook nowadays, you can link your Nintendo-x2.com account to your Facebook account, and log in only once (on Facebook, that is) to use all our services.

Registration - New users

If you do not have your own personal account here on Nintendo-x2.com but you do have a Facebook account, the sign-up process is very easy:

  1. At the bottom of this page, there's a notice that you are not yet logged in. Inside that box, click the "Register"-link.
  2. Read the Registration Agreement thoroughly (all basic stuff nowadays) and accept the terms to continue.
  3. Click the big blue "Facebook"-button
  4. Accept the Registration Agreement again (we're sorry, we're still ironing out the small bugs in the system)
  5. Choose a username (pre-filled from your Facebook account) and a password. If you also own a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U and want to share your 3DS friendcode or Nintendo Network ID with fellow readers, fill in the complete form
  6. Click the Register-button and follow the Facebook instructions. Take note, the App we built requests permission to post on your wall. Unfortunately we're not able to remove that permission, but we're not using it either. If you're uncertain or wary, you can always choose to make our posts only visible to yourself.

And that's all, have fun using your newly created Nintendo-x2.com account. Next time, you can simply press the Login-link, followed by the Facebook-button to log in again.

Registration - Existing users

Of course we haven't forgotten about you. Linking your Facebook account is even easier than for new users:

  1. Make sure you're logged in on Nintendo-x2.com
  2. Head over to your Profile page
  3. In the menu, choose for "Associate account with Facebook" (listed under "Facebook", of course)

And that's all. Next time, you can simply press the Login-link, followed by the Facebook-button to log in again.

Nintendo-x2.com Fanpage

Whether you're using your Facebook account or not to log in here at Nintendo-x2.com, we would appreciate if you would like our Facebook Fanpage. At the time of writing, not many of our visitors have already "like"-ed our page, so be sure you're one of the first!
