Original sketches of Shantae on the GameBoy Color

Back in 2002, WayForward Technologies created Shantae for Game Boy Color and from 18th July you'll be able to (re)discover this gem of a platform game on Virtual Console. Until then, feast your eyes on these early sketches from the game inside

The pages taken from Shantae series creator Matt Bozon's sketch book. Matt filled several sketchbooks while designing the game (1994-1999) and during production (1999-2002). Included are the first drawings by Erin Bozon, creator of the Shantae character, which inspired the series. Tou can see them now by clicking here.
