WIIU More Nintendo Selects Titles coming This June

Nintendo is adding a host of thrilling Wii titles to its series of Nintendo Selects games on 13th June. Nintendo Selects includes some of the most loved Wii games at a great value, meaning that you can discover games in the range for the first time or rediscover and enjoy them all over again on your Wii, or on your Wii U in Wii Mode.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Party 9 and Wii Party have sold a total of 16.4 million copies in Europe and are all being offered at a great value as the Nintendo Selects range expands. The line-up offers some fantastically popular gaming experiences which will take you from parties in your living room to adventures in outer space.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a classic action-packed Mario platform game which went on to sell 7.7 million copies across Europe. Princess Peach has been captured by Bowser and it's Mario's job to rescue her. But he's not alone, as up to four players can join the fun at the same time, playing as Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad or Yellow Toad. And whether you're playing alone or multiplayer, you can take advantage of a host of special power-ups, including the Propeller Mushroom and the Penguin Suit.

Super Mario Galaxy 2* sees Mario blast off into outer space once more in a 3D adventure. You will explore countless galaxies across the universe, this time around with the help of trusty sidekick Yoshi. Packed with challenges for series veterans - as well as a helpful Cosmic Spirit to guide newcomers through the trickiest parts - Super Mario Galaxy 2 takes players on an unforgettable journey that is truly out of this world.

Mario Party 9 takes the madcap family fun from Mario Kart Wii and blends it with the thrills-aplenty minigame variety of Wii Party to create a fun-filled experience for up to four players. Choose from Mario, Luigi, Peach and more in your bid to finish first in a board game-style contest crammed with surprises...

Wii Party is a laugh-a-minute piece of social gaming, in which you can take part in over 80 zany and engaging minigames as your own and your family's Mii characters. The House Party mode makes your living room the centre of the game: take part in challenges such as the Hide 'n' Hunt game to find the hidden Wii Remote before time runs out, or tackle the Time Bomb game where you must keep a steady hand while gingerly passing the ticking Wii Remote between friends. And there's more, with Pair Games and Party Games modes both offering thrilling and inventive challenges whether you cooperate or compete with fellow players.
