Gaiabreaker Blasting onto This Weeks eShop

It's all a little sparse at this weeks eShop for both the Wii U and 3DS but at least there's a Demo of Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot and Wii U owners can take out all their digital frustrations with action/shooter Gaiabreaker.

In this scrolling shooter, take control of a hi-tech gunship and blast your way through six different stages to protect Earth from an invading menace. Your ship is armed with standard guns, as well as a powerful homing laser. Your guns can fire bullets directly ahead, damaging any enemies they collide with. By using your homing laser, you can lock on to up to four enemies at a time. When a green target appears, fire the laser and it will pursue the targeted enemies and bring them down! Connect to Miiverse to interact with other players. On completing a stage, a Miiverse posting form will be displayed, allowing you to post your comments for others to see. Your play data will also be contained in any post you make. When the viewing of Miiverse content is enabled, other users' data will also be displayed in game. You can see their scores and where they were defeated. Try to beat them all and be the very best!

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

What a nightmare! Since King Dedede stole the Star Rod from Dream Land, everyone has been unable to dream. Only Kirby can reunite the Star Rod's shattered pieces and restore peaceful naptimes! As the powerful pink puffball, inhale enemies and copy their abilities to transform into more than 20 powerful - and often hilarious - forms, from a whirling tornado to a UFO! There are also lots of fun sub-games to discover, playable with only one button, like the frantic Bomb Rally or the super-fast Kirby's Air Grind!

Try out now the new puzzle sensation and compete with the world for the highest score in leaderboards! Pick-A-Gem is a match 3 type game. You have limited time to collect as many gems as possible. Gems are collected by tapping on the bottom screen and need to create a chain of the same colour. With each game played increase your Experience Level. Thanks to this you get access to new features such as bombs, dynamites, higher multipliers, coins, chests or even Frenzy Mode! With a higher level of experience you can also get more points.
