Based on the popular toy brand from Hasbro, the story of Zoids began on Planet Zi, where mechanoid beasts known as ZOIDS compete against each other with the help of their human partners in the quest for victory. One day our hero, a 16-year-old junk dealer known as Bit Cloud, is driving his truck through the countryside when he suddenly finds himself in the middle of a ZOIDS battle. Later, Bit sneaks into a garage and meets the legendary ZOID hero known as Liger ZERO. Liger chooses this impetuous young boy to be his tournament pilot, and together they join their friends in waging battle against other ZOIDS warriors.
