The game Elf will be based on the motion pictures of the same name. The story about an orphan child ('Buddy') who crawls into Santa's bag of gifts on Christmas eve and is brought back to the North Pole, where he's raised as an elf. When it becomes clear that Buddy's not a real elf, he is sent to the real world to find his true identity.

The GBA version of Elf will be an actiongame with about 10 different missions closely following the movie's plot. The game will also feature three differnet minigames.

"We believe 'Elf' will be one of this holiday season's biggest DVD successes and that children will truly enjoy this game inspired by the film," added David Imhoff, Senior Executive Vice President, Worldwide Licensing and Merchandising.

Elf is currently scheduled for a (European) release on November 16th, together with the DVD-release of the movie.
