Nintendo of America has released a new list of titles they think are worthy enough to be released early next year. That's GBA and Nintendo DS.
Game Boy Advance Titles: - Jan. 10: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (Nintendo) - January: Banjo Pilot (THQ) - February: Rave Master: Special Attack Force (Konami) - February: Shaman King: Legacy of Spirits ? Soaring Hawk (Konami) - February: Ace Combat (Namco) - February: Klonoa 2 (Namco) - February: Winnie the Pooh (Ubisoft) - March 21: WarioWare Twisted! (Nintendo) - March: Mario Party Advance (Nintendo) - March: Backyard Baseball (Atari) - March: Pac Pinball (Namco) - April: Pokon Emerald (Nintendo) - Q2: Fire Emblem 2 (Nintendo) - Q2: Ultimate Pocket Games (Telegames)
So what are the main points here? First of all, the official announcement of WarioWare Twisted! for the GBA. Up to now, the motion-sensored game was expected to be released, but never officially announced for Europe or the US. The next title which looks promising comes from Namco. We haven't heard anything about Pac Pinball yet, but with nowadays' trend of turning games into pinball machines (Mario Pinball Land, Pokon Pinball), we're 100% sure it'll be Namco's spokeperson Pac-Man heading for a new pinball game. Shortly after that (April 2005), various gamestores will see massive crowds once more when Pokon Emerald is released. And finally, many hearts will be filled with joy when they see that Fire Emblem 2 is heading our way. Thank you Nintendo for listening to the crowd (and the salesfigures for Fire Emblem)
Next up, the Nintendo DS Titles: - Feb. 14: WarioWare Touched! (Nintendo) - March 14: Pokon Dash (Nintendo) - March: Yoshi's Touch & Go (Nintendo) - March: Atari Classics (Atari) - March: Pac Pix (Namco) - Q1: Need for Speed Underground 2 (Electronic Arts) - Q2: Metroid Prime Hunters (Nintendo) - May: Ultimate Card Games (Telegames) - June: Ultimate Brain Games (Telegames) - New titles for Nintendo franchises like Mario Kart, Animal Crossing and Advance Wars remain in development
Not much new in this list, except that a few rumours are out of the way: Mario Kart and Metroid Prime Hunters will not be released any time soon.
