Bomberman DS - Info

New facts on Bomberman DS, straight from Japan.

Hudson Soft has announced the Japanese releasedate of Bomberman DS: May 25, 2005. As far as we were able to translate, the game will feature up to 8-players single-pack multiplaying action using the wireless connection of the Nintendo DS. This multiplayer action will consist out of three different modes:Normal Mode, in which players take on each other, trying to trap the other players and blow them up.Crown Mode, which can be compared to Super Mario 64 DS's multiplayer mode: who gets to the crown first?Panel Mode, in which your bombs will color the tiles hit. In a certain timeframe you'll have to try to color more tiles than your opponents.

Furthermore, Bomberman DS will feature singleplayer options. In the normal mode, you'll have to guide Bomberman through the 10 area's that will be available, each featuring 10 stages and a powerfull boss. Items found will be accessible using the touch screen whenever you prefer.
