Action Replay Reveals Titles
Datel comes up with a piece of hardware for the GBA and Nintendo DS, and shows some interesting pictures. Get inside, it's rumour-time!
Datel's dynamic new Action Replay MAX DUO combines the Action Replay for GBA and the MAX Drive DS for the Nintendo DS. MAX Drive DS is the complete solution for backing up, restoring and exchanging your Nintendo DS game saves. It has its own on-board memory for storing a number of your game-saves. Using the supplied PC Application, you can also connect your MAX Drive DS to your PC, meaning you can store literally thousands of game-save backups. Best of all, MAX Drive DS lets you to save multiple times in games which would otherwise let you make only one save. So when the inevitable Pokon DS arrives, you can let your kid brother have a go without him interfering with your own game position.
The fun part here comes when Datel showed the first screens of the device in action, as can be seen below...
A number of games appear on the screen we have never encountered before. - Super Mario 64 DS: Check, we've seen that one already, and many have played it in the past too (well, according to our highscore tables at least) - DS Wars: Could this be the name for Advance Wars DS? The game has been renamed to Famicom Wars in Japan, perhaps Datel overheard something about a renaming of the game for the US and Europe as well. - Mario Golf: Whether this is the GBA version of the game, or a complete new Nintendo DS version, we don't know. The game is listed amongst the DS titles in Datel's application... - Metroid Prime: Probably the demo, or the full version we all know. - Mario Kart: Again, we suspect this to be the DS version. - Jedi Knights: A brand new game, or Datel's naming for Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith? - Prince of Persia DS: The game we recently encountered on Ubisoft's releaselists - Ridge Racer Revolution: The last time we checked, the official name of the released game was Ridge Racer DS. An error, or a new game from Namco after the game Andrew reviewed today? - Sledge Wars: Sledges? We don't remember any game like this, unless Snowboard Kids DS got named Sledge Wars by Datel, but we highly doubt this.
Of course, it's possible that Datel simply made up a few titles to act as placeholders...

I swear, I'm not showing any April Fools jokes here today (nor tomorrow, nor yesterday)... At least not as far as I'm aware.
it looks like action replay has a bit of DS Emulation going on to make it more appealing to us buyers.. By the way Visit Nintendocentre.com/forums and sign up.
