Nintendogs Very Popular

Everyone knew that Nintendogs would become one of the Nintendo DS's killer-apps. Now Media Create brings in the proof.

Although during the last few days rumours scattered throughout the internet that Nintendogs had sold 135.000 copies in a mere four days (Japan only), Media Create has now released the official sales figures for the last week.

Taking fourth, fifth and sixth position on the rankings, the Japanese stores managed to sell over 182.000 copies of the virtual dogs: 4. NDS nintendogs: Shiba and friends - Nintendo - 83,000 (new) 5. NDS nintendogs: Dachs and friends - Nintendo - 53,000 (new) 6. NDS nintendogs: Chihuahua and friends - Nintendo - 46,000 (new)

With these figures, Nintendogs managed to beat the previous top-selling Nintendo DS game Super Mario 64 DS, which managed to sell approximately 120.000 copies in its first week.
