Namco announced today that it is including an extra bonus with The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree: the super-scary Berenstain Bears Trick or Treat book. When players are done battling ghastly ghosts and creepy crocodiles in the game, players will be able to continue their spooky adventures by reading a tale of Brother Bear and Sister Bear on a trick or treating adventure like no other. The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree ships for the GameBoy Advance this September in the US.

"We enjoy bringing Namco customers added value, so it is our pleasure to include this fun book with our first Berenstain Bears game," said Jeff Lujan, business director of Namco. "Things are never dull in the Bears' life, and this package now includes two of the cubs' spookiest nighttime adventures for gamers to enjoy."

The Berenstain Bears Trick or Treat from Random House Publishing will be packaged in miniature form inside the Game Boy Advance game. Trick or Treat is one of more than 200 books based on the lovable bear family. In this story, Brother and Sister Bear don their costumes to go trick-or-treating by themselves for the first time. They plan to avoid Miz McGrizz's spooky home, but during their Halloween outing, the cubs discover that appearances can be deceiving.
