Crave Entertainment Announces Tringo For GBA
Crave Entertainment has announced a new puzzle-title for the GameBoy Advance. However, Tringo will also feature some Bingo-elements...
Crave Entertainment announced the signing of the Tringo license. Developed by Kermitt Quick, Tringo combines elements of puzzle games and bingo for an amazingly addictive game that's quick to play and easy to master. The game became a huge hit within weeks of introduction on Second Life, a virtual world that encourages players to develop their own content.
"Tringo has developed a huge following in a remarkably short time," says Rob Dyer, president and chief operating officer of Crave Entertainment. "It really demonstrates that there is still a high demand for simple, well-executed gameplay."
In Tringo, players start with a blank board on which they must place 35 game pieces that appear one by one during the timed turns. Points are scored by fitting the pieces to form solid blocks and clearing the blocks from the board. You've got to move quickly but carefully because missed pieces lose points.
Tringo is currently scheduled for release in November 2005.

I have played this in my local arcade. The gameplay is weird. If it is what i played you will be offered balls from a bango machine and you have to accept or reject the ball. If you take the ball and that number is not on your card you lose time. As well as numbered balls you get bonus balls with ? symbols, skull balls that if you take means game over, and star balls (get 3 to auto win). The game is very very fast as you are against the clock the whole time, i was just 1 number and 1 star away from £40 :(
BTW bingo machine not bango, give me a break its just after 9AM.
