Rune Factory - Scans

Two scans from the upcoming hack'n'farming game for the Nintendo DS: Rune Factory.

The latest edition of Famitsu magazine in Japan once again showed new information and screens of Rune Factory, the upcoming cross-breed between farming sim Harvest Moon and your average monster-slaying game.

  wait... so this isn't Harvest Moon? its called rune factory? heh, i thought rune factory was the name of the developers all this time.

  Think it's done by Neverland and Marvelous Interactive. The latter was also involved in the Harvest Moon series. As I understand, Rune Factory is seen as a new extension to the Harvest Moon series, not a direct sequel or anything alike.

  good graphics, It dosn't look like anything is pre-rendered like ASH or I even hear parts of FF3 are. It's also supposed to be online. BTW the second scan isn't working.

  OH SHIT?!?!? EVEN some "parts" of Final Fantasy 3 DS are pre-rendered? That SUCKS! I'm sure ALL OF US were SURE that the backgrounds were made of polygons and the camera moved around the environments and blah blah... This is terrible NEWS, NPC82. (SaRcAsM)

  It works... This looks awesome, protecting your farm from monsters. I wonder if you can use farming tools as weapons? "Mua ha ha! I will now water you to death!" OK, maybe the axe, hammer, and sickle would work better. This better come to USA!!!

  this game looks alittle wierd id have to wait and see reviews before i think about buying it or atleast previews with direct feed videos
