Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll - Europe Bound
After the earlier story from SEGA Europe about The Rub Rabbits!, SEGA also announces Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll for a European release.
SEGA today announced Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll, exclusively on the Nintendo DS System. Slated for release in March 2006, AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon, and Baby are back in true classic Super Monkey Ball style, with all-new gameplay control using the DS stylus and ad-hoc wi-fi enabled multiplayer modes! Â
The monkey madness returns with 10 worlds and over 50 new stages in the single player Challenge Mode. Roll the monkey ball around with the stylus or directional pad to reach your goal and unlock new worlds. Play straight through the worlds and stages from easy to hard, or go to Practice Mode to rehearse the levels you find the most difficult.
"The style of play in Super Monkey Ball lends itself perfectly to the touch pad of the DS," said Mike Hayes, President and COO, SEGA Europe Ltd. "The Monkey Ball franchise is a favourite amongst Nintendo fans and we are delighted to be able to offer this unique version exclusively to DS gamers."
Those mad monkeys boast a total of six games in Party Mode for both single and multiplayer platforms. Challenge your friends to a Monkey Race or box your way to victory in Monkey Fight. And, nothing can be more satisfying than hitting a hole-in-one on Monkey Mini Golf or striking 'em down with Monkey Bowling. Exclusively for the DS system, are two brand new party games - Monkey Hockey and Monkey Wars - which will ensure that the monkey mayhem never stops!
Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll is scheduled for release in March 2006.

On GBA he had impressive graphic.
On the DS, it looks even better: http://www.ds-x2.com/games.php?id=739&view=screens
the cartoonish style make them look like theyre on nick jr but the gameplay is wat matters
I dont really like the syle to much... and 50 levels come on what are they thinking we need more. Also multiplayer, better have challenge mode or some thing like it.
after looking at the videos and screens, they seem to have the same levels in 1 and 2
...Aaaaaand Monkey Hockey was the minigame without any monkeys in it. =P
@walaluigi: I think by 50 new levels they might mean they are incorporating some old ones or something. 50 is too few for a Monkey Ball game.
