  • This slaps Castlevania around, and rapes it. Sorry, this is 2D perfection.

  • the first battle screen on the top right still amazes me. cant wait!

  • caleb, it's obvious you are right about the Children of Mana reuses tiles and sprites from Seiken 3. I believe Sword of Mana did the same. But I would have to disagree on you saying the two kinds of graphics clash. That's like saying FF7's battle system clashes with it's roaming system. They may be different, but that's not a reason to say they don't blend together well. The same concept is being used here in Children of Mana. Old tilesets for battle areas, and detailed for towns and non-battle areas.

  • Caleb there is no use in wasting your breath trying to tell these noobs that the graphics are old sprites reused to make a quick $$$ in from naive gamers like these ones...

  • I'm playing through Tales Of Phantasia *right* now--and well, this completely and utterly destroys it. TOP looks nice, but this looks amazing--open and shut.

  • looks great! That's probobly the intro for the game (besides the clips of gameplay).

  • Nice cutscenes - Do mana games usually get released in Europe/US anyone know?

    skarma, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
  • i gotta wait till i get home to watch this but cant wait.

  • Wait until you actually play it to judge how nice it looks. It's common knowledge that handhelds almost always look better when you are actually playing them than in videos and such. Even look at Dawn of Sorrow...it's not that impressive in screenshots. And look at how ugly Metriod Prime Hunters looks in screenshots as well.

  • Yikes...the multiplayer looks pretty sweet (along with some gourgeous cutscenes). Not enough gameplay sequences (and pretty small), however, to really make a good judgement on it though.

  • ^^Sorry, Typo--this is some of the most beautiful *2D* We've ever seen on a handheld.

    Ray00101, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
  • Caleb, you do realize you look like an idiot saying stuff like that right? You *do* realize this is some of the most beautiful 3D we've ever seen on a handheld--do you not?

    Ray00101, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
  • I can see lots of things that wouldn´t be possible on GBA or SNES. Some of the effects looks pretty impressive imo.

  • Gorgerous game... I love the style of the cutscenes and the look of whole game. Can´t wait! ^_^
